WELCOME ADDRESS BY TUNDE ADEGBITE

Hello!  I am Tunde Adegbite, a career blogger and I welcome you to www.careersgps.blogspot.com. The burden that triggered careersgps.com was experential. It was not an enjoyable one! Like every other young grad,  I had completed my National Youth Service Corps in early 2005 in Nigeria. One major concern that wakes you up daily after NYSC in Nigeria is "Alawee (Government NYSC stipend) is over. I need a  CV  but do i really want to work or learn a skill? Should i start a trade? Am i interested in a second degree? How about an Msc?  Should i go start afresh? Can i take a professional exam now or later? What do i do now?"

Its interesting to tell you that these are just the starting questions Life delivers to your doorstep after graduation to welcome you.

I used to think this was only a major problem of young grads until i started working only to find out that many employees have this same burden. "What am i to do?" seems to be one of the toughest and unanswered questions of the average Nigerian and African youth. Entrepreneurial students, unfulfilled and recently sacked employees have this same burden as the young Nigerian grad.

This blog will talk to you strongly about setting out for a new career- deciding on what next, deciding on what you want, deciding on where to start and how to grow, deciding on funding and entrepreneurship and professional exams that matter for career growth.

I believe very strongly that this blog will be a great starting point not only for your career fulfillment, personal development but also for your overall Happiness.

Please simply subscribe to receive this daily for free and be assured of an entertaining, informative and a well invested time.

Once again I welcome you.
